Trekking In Cat Ba National Park

The first day starts with a transfer to Dinh Vu Harbour on a 2-hour drive from Hanoi with our guide. From the harbor, join a 45-minute high-speed boat to Cat Ba Island. Lunch is ready upon arrival in Cat Ba Town.

After a short rest, an exciting 12-km trek leads you through the mystic and wild Cat Ba National Park and ends up at Viet Hai Village. This is the right time for bird watching and sightseeing in the pristine forest or at the the Frog Lake.

This trek promises to give you a chance to spot out native cats, squirrels, spotted deer, snakes, other thousands of colorful butterflies as well as the one and only Cat Ba langur.

Dinner and overnight is prepared in a rusted bungalow at the back of Viet Hai Village.

Day two is fully saved for Lan Ha Bay to which you travel at 7.30 AM followed by a walk to the top of Marine Hill which rewards you with a panoramic view of both Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay.

On returning to Viet Hai Village, treat yourself with a fun and exceptional fish massage or simply relax before a 30-minute cycling trip to Viet Hai Harbour from where you begin your exploration of the Lan Ha Bay on cruise. Lunch would be set on the cruise when gliding past the fascinating landscapes of craggy karsts.

At the end of the day, have fun with your kayaking around Luon Cave. In case the weather is harsh and heated, you would be stopping over a pristine sandy seashore for a refreshing swim.

Enjoy your luxury dinner and spend a night over on cruise in the heart of Lan Ha Bay.

Wake up early on this last day for a stunning sunrise watch before breakfast. Then, hop on a voyage cutting through Lan Ha Bay with a closer glimpse at the wilderness and chalky peaks to arrive at Cai Beo Village. Here, you get to learn about the special colourful flotilla of floating houses surrounded with fish farms run by the local fishermen.

Return to the boat for lunch afterwards. In case more passengers are coming, lunch would be served inland instead. Disembark at around 11.30 AM and say goodbye to this paradise before returning Hanoi.

The highlight of way back is Phu Lang, a heritage pottery-making village where you have a walk and discover the local life.
